Virginia. If Virginia goes blue than McCain will have a hard time filling in the electoral votes. Moreover Virginia represents a mix of country hillbillies and civilized city folk so it proves to be an adequate measurement of the national sentiment. If Virginia votes democrat it will be the first it has done so since 1964.
